- Rinse your used pad with running water and wash off the blood.
Then wash it by hand or in the washing machine.
Hang it in the sun, because sunlight helps prevent the growth of bacteria.

- Soak your used pad in a bucket with some soap, detergent or baking soda.
Leave it for some time and spin it in the washing machine with other laundries.
The water in the bucket should be changed once a day.
